About

Elmore Cattle Company

Our Farm

Elmore Cattle Company is a family owned and operated farm headquartered in Cross Anchor, South Carolina. We raise Simmental, Maine Anjou, and crossbred cattle. Elmore Cattle is currently operated by three generations. Tim and Radawn are the founders and owners of the company. Two of their daughters, their sons-in-law, and four grandchildren help out with day to day responsibilities.

We produce cattle that have the ability to add value and depth to your herd as well as compete in the show ring. Each spring, we offer our best fall born calves as show prospects in our annual More Than Ordinary sale.

Our Story

Our family began raising cattle in Manatee County, Florida, and two of our daughters exhibited livestock for their first time at the Manatee County Fair. In 2005, we relocated to South Carolina and began building the herd. We quickly learned that South Carolina was not the cattle-showing capital of the world, so we decided to venture a little further. We got involved in national breed associations and started taking cattle to compete in other parts of the country. Along the way, we met Gene Rowe of Ohio and quickly developed a partnership. Our first donor cow, Perfect Lady, was owned with Mr. Rowe and has made a big impact on our herd. If you spend any time with us, she will be mentioned. You will also hear us talk about a trio of Partisover heifers, who pushed us deeper into Simmental genetics and really shaped what our herd looks like today. We'd love to talk with you about our foundation females anytime.
